A Reverend Sister has stirred dust on social media as she was spotted trying to save an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary from a heavily flooded church. Her action caused so many reactions from social media users. Many argued that she was carrying the god that was supposed to carry her across the flood.

The photo of this woman who is seen carrying the effigy of the Blessed Virgin Mary is going viral on social media. The woman was struggling to save herself and the image of Mary, mother of Christ from the flooded environment.

We can’t really say who the woman is or where she was taking the molded image. But from the photo, we could see that the whole place, including the house where she possibly retrieved the image is flooded. She may be looking for a safer place to keep the image of the Virgin Mary.

However, other social media users see the post as a mockery of the religion. They also commend the effort of the Rev. Sister and tagged it as bravery.

One cited freedom of worship as one of the fundamental human rights. He advised the castigators to stay clear.
