ODM February 2023 DAY 4
Topic: THE DOCTOR’S LOST CAR WAR AGAINST DISAPPEARING FORTUNES – 1
Basic Scripture: JOB 1: 8-21; “8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”
12 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”
Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
13 One day when Job’s sons and daughters were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brother’s house, 14 a messenger came to Job and said, “The oxen were plowing and the donkeys were grazing nearby, 15 and the Sabeans attacked and made off with them. They put the servants to the sword, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!”
16 While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, “The fire of God fell from the heavens and burned up the sheep and the servants, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!”
17 While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, “The Chaldeans formed three raiding parties and swept down on your camels and made off with them. They put the servants to the sword, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!”
18 While he was still speaking, yet another messenger came and said, “Your sons and daughters were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brother’s house, 19 when suddenly a mighty wind swept in from the desert and struck the four corners of the house. It collapsed on them and they are dead, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!”
20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked I will depart.[a]
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;
may the name of the Lord be praised.”

Not too long ago, on a Sunday afternoon in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, a medical doctor had a very nasty experience. The innocent young doctor and graphic artist (just 25-years-old) had worked over the night and left work to: attend church service.
He Stopped over at the Take market hi the FCT on his way back from church, to do some shopping. He parked his car in front of the market, got in there and purchased what he needed. He spent only 20 minutes in the market. Unknown to him, he was being watched by eyes that had evil intentions. He came out and headed to where he had parked the car.
To his utter amazement, the vehicle had disappeared. In the car were his laptop which contained some jobs to he delivered to his customers, tablet, 200 euros and other personal items. The bewildered young doctor thought he had probably forgotten where he parked the car. With that assumption, he went round the whole market. He asked whom he could, if they had seen his car.
Everyone gave him a negative answer. He went to the police to make a report. The search is still on and the young man has been left devastated. What he had labored to acquire was taken away from him in a moment. Today’s Bible reading gives a graphic illustration of what the devil can do to a man’s fortunes.
Job had worked hard and the Lord had blessed him to the extent that he became the richest man in the east. Check out his wealth in Job 1:2-3. It was indeed a great fortune! However, in one day, Job lost all his fortune! Before his very eyes, everything he had worked for disappeared! Arise today and scatter every plan to cause you to SU FFER LOSSES THIS YEAR… (to be continued tomorrow).

- Any eye keeping a watch upon my life to unleash evil this year, become blind in Jesus name.
- I CANCEL EVERY BAD NEWS of 2023! 1 shall hear GOOD NEWS and MORE GOOD NEWS this year in Jesus name.
- I decree: ALL BAD NEWS MANUFACTURERS and BAD NEW CARRIERS; RUN MAD in Jesus name.
- I decree again; THERE SHALL BE NO LOSS this year (Pray it seriously for 2 days),
- O Lord, arise and fight for me. Angels of the living God, keep a watch over my life and property.
