Topic: THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S!
BASIC SCRIPTURE: 1 SAMUEL 2:1-10; “Then Hannah prayed and said:
“My heart rejoices in the Lord;
in the Lord my horn[a] is lifted high.
My mouth boasts over my enemies,
for I delight in your deliverance.
2 “There is no one holy like the Lord;
there is no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God.
3 “Do not keep talking so proudly
or let your mouth speak such arrogance,
for the Lord is a God who knows,
and by him deeds are weighed.
4 “The bows of the warriors are broken,
but those who stumbled are armed with strength.
5 Those who were full hire themselves out for food,
but those who were hungry are hungry no more.
She who was barren has borne seven children,
but she who has had many sons pines away.
6 “The Lord brings death and makes alive;
he brings down to the grave and raises up.
7 The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
he humbles and he exalts.
8 He raises the poor from the dust
and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
he seats them with princes
and has them inherit a throne of honor.
“For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s;
on them he has set the world.
9 He will guard the feet of his faithful servants,
but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness.
“It is not by strength that one prevails;
10 those who oppose the Lord will be broken.
The Most High will thunder from heaven;
the Lord will judge the ends of the earth.
“He will give strength to his king
and exalt the horn of his anointed.”

In my country, a lady, a mother of three, died in a car crash while chasing her husband’s side-chick (external girlfriend or strange woman). The lady gave a hot chase resulting in an accident which claimed her life. Information has it that the woman was said to be in pursuit of her husband and the strange woman and she lost control of her vehicle, killing herself in the process.
The woman sighted her husband leaving a SPAR shopping mall in the company of another female when she tried to block her husband’s car with the Toyota Highlander she was driving in. Her husband was said to have maneuvered his vehicle out of the .attempted blockade, then took the Murtala Muhammed highway, with his wife in serious ; pursuit.
In a bid to outrun her husband, she lost control of the speeding vehicle, veered off the road and slammed the vehicle headlong into a tree, damaging the vehicle beyond repair and also killing herself. A source at the hospital said that the husband (name withheld) was allegedly begging the lifeless body of his wife to forgive him while urging her to come back to life and take care of their three children.
But that did not happen! She had gone to eternity! Wow! The Holy Ghost wants you to know that BY STRENGTH SHALL NO MAN PREVAIL in 2023 (Vs. 9 of today’s scripture)! The Holy Ghost wants you lo know that at a stage in some battles, you must surrender them to God; HAND THEM OVER TO GOD AND DECLARE: “The battle is the Lord’s!” Stop using your physical, emotional or mental energy to fight every battle!
Some battles are set-up satanic programmes to claim your peace, destiny mid life! WATCH AND PRAY! Let your life’s motto be that: “WHATEVERGODCANNOT DO FORME CANNOT BE DONE!” There is a LIMIT your physical effort/anger will reach! AFTER THAT THE LIMITLESS GODTAKES OVER because your END is His beginning! Trust Him and wait on Him. Hold on and hold out!You will never end in shame! Pray seriously now!
