Mrs. Flora Ojukwu of Radio Nigeria is Dead
The golden voice of Radio Nigeria and news Broadcaster, Dr. (Mrs.) Flora Ojukwu has died. The news of her death was made public in the early hour of today by her husband, Rev. Francis Ojukwu via his Social Media page.
In the post, Flora Ojukwu’s husband shared the sad news of his wife’s demise and solicited the prayers of his friends at this time mourning. The post reads:
“My dear wife Dr. Flora Ojukwu(JP), has gone to be with the Lord! Made in Heaven I called her, I called her, an icon in the Broadcast space, a music icon, writer and composer, a scribe, vibrant instructor, and mentor to many. She smiled her way on into eternity! Live on my Honey, Ochiora!”

Meanwhile, just a few days ago, the family and the friends of Flora launched the #SaveFloraOjukwu campaign via social media. The campaign was pushed to raise money for the treatment of the Late Flora Ojukwu who was in a critical health condition.
Flora Ojukwu’s Death
It was reported in the campaign that she was battling cancer and was in a critical condition that required a huge amount for her medical treatment. This move was championed by her children and husband.
The Late Flora Ojukwu was born to the family of the popular Ezuma in Anambra State. She was married to a Minister of the Gospel and a lawyer, Rev. Francis Ojukwu. Flora Ojukwu’s husband is a native of Umuagu Nnobi in Idemili South, Anambra State.
Dr. (Mrs.) Flora Ojukwu (JP) died yesterday, the 3rd day of May 2021. She is survived by her husband and 5 beautiful children. She will be missed greatly in Radio Nigeria where she worked for several years as a broadcaster. Her listeners will surely miss her.
In fact, the late Flora Ojukwu left an indelible mark in the field of journalism, especially in the broadcasting profession. Her first daughter, Honey Ojukwu, the chip off the old block, takes over the mantle from her mother. Apart from journalism, she was also a musician and a teacher.

Late Mrs. Flora Ojukwu Burial Update
The family of Ojukwu in Nnobi, Anambra State mourns the Late Mrs. Flora Ojukwu Nee Ezuma, announces date for her burial. The date for the burial of Flora Ojukwu has been announced by the family.
This was made public by her husband on social media. The funeral service will hold on Friday 30th July 2021 at St. Peters Anglican Church, Umuagu Nnobi in Anambra State.
