Topic: THE THROAT CANCER MAN!
BASIC SCRIPTURE: Philippians 2:5-11; “5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in very nature[a] God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
7 rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature[b] of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Welcome to today’s devotional! A man with throat cancer faced an operation that would save his life but not his voice. Just before surgery, he spent time with his wife telling her of his love. He did the same with his daughter. Then he asked his doctor to let him know precisely when the anesthetic would make him unconscious.
As the man was slipping off to sleep, he said distinctly, “Jesus! Jesus!!” Amazing! His last words and the very last he would ever speak according to his doctor were “Jesus! Jesus!!” I believe that name healed and restored not only his body but also his voice. And I decree that any plan to attack your voice, health, job, business, career and Finances this year, shall scatter and backfire in Jesus name.
I command any negative doctor’s report to catch fire and reverse now in Jesus name! Gaither said: “Let all heaven and earth proclaim: Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, but there’s | something about that name!” Yes! “THE NAME OF JESUS IS PRECIOUS TO THOSE WHO KNOW HIM AND PROFANE TO THOSE WHO SPURN HIM!” Ah! The man in today’s story was to choose between staying alive and losing his voice. The surgery was to make him stay alive, but lose his ability to speak. What a situation and what a decision to make!
I decree again as I am commanded: May whatever will put you in a tight corner pass over your fife, family and ministry this year! Oh! Never lose hope in the “NAME OF JESUS.” That is all you’ve got in your battle season! Money can fail and fade, people can disappoint and abandon you, but the name of Jesus is your defender.
Now lift up your voice and pray for all cancer cases worldwide; loose healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus!

1. What a Friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!

2. Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a Friend so faithful,
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness—–

3. Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Saviour, still our refuge—–

In His arms He’ll take and shield thee.
Thou wilt find a solace there,
PRAYER POINTS
- DECLARE WAR against any cancer battle in my bloodline; dry up, dry up and dry up in Jesus name.
- ROOT OF CANCER planted to cut short my destiny, catch fire and burn in Jesus name.
- Battles meant to put my destiny in a tight corner, pass over me by fire in Jesus name.
- Pray for those undergoing surgery today; cancel mistakes and errors!
- The man’s last words were “JESUS, JESUS!” Now mention that situation and shout “JESUS” 7 times. I see RESULTS that will cancel every INSULT!
- Pray about today now as led and any other issue(s) affecting your peace
