The Church Of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) Annual Divine Commonwealth Conference DIVCCON. The New Primate Church of Nigeria, The Most Rev’d Henry Ndukuba Hosts The 2020 Annual Divine Commonwealth Conference In Abuja. This is the first DIVCCON to be held upon becoming the new primate. The immediate former Primate, The Most Rev’d Nicholas Okoh initiated DIVCCON, and the first was held in the year 2011.
The Church of Nigeria 2020 annual Divine CommonWealth Conference (DIVCCON) begins today in Ibru Center, Abuja with the Theme. The conference began with an opening church Service yesterday by the new Primate of Church of Nigeria, The Most Rev’d Henry Ndukuba.
Divine Common Wealth Conference was initiated by the immediate past Primate of Church of Nigeria, The Most Rev’d Nicholas Okoh in 2011. The first conference was held in November 2011. It is a conference that brings together the House of Bishops, clergy and Laity, and other denominations. Attendants from other countries have also been recorded all these years.
The Conference is a purely spiritual program where seasoned teachers of the gospel inside and outside Anglican Communion are selected to teach and lead in the prayer sessions at the conference. It is also an avenue where Clergies from different dioceses in Nigeria come together.
DIVCCON for short-form comes annually, usually in November. It is a 5-day conference. It begins with an opening service on Sunday morning and ends on Thursday night.
