The federal government has released the names of the 7 Nigerian Military officers who were involved in the aircraft crash which took place in Abuja this morning. The names of the 7 Nigerian Military officers who were on board during the Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft crash have been finally released. According to the airforce spokesman, 2 out of the lists are Igbos.
A Nigerian military aircraft has crashed near Abuja airport, killing all seven people on board, according to officials.
“First responders are at the scene. Sadly, all 7 personnel on board died in the crash,” Ibikunle Daramola, air force spokesman, said in a statement on Sunday.
The Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft crashed while returning to the Abuja airport after reporting engine failure en route to Minna, he said.
These are their names:
Haruna Gadzama (The chief Pilot)
Henry Piyo (The assistant Pilot)
Michael Okpara: (Flying Officer)
Bassey Etim: (Warrant Officer)
Also on the list are:
Olasunkanmi Olawunmi: (Flight Sergeant)
Ugochukwu Oluka: (Sergeant) and
Adewale Johnson (Aircraftman).
On the latest development on Nigerian Military Airforce Aircraft Crash, the photos and the names of all the Military on board were released later today. It has been also officially confirmed that two among the officers are Igbos.
