Don’t expect to get a yes answer on this. I am yet to see a write up on a herbal medicine with a hundred percent approval. Herbal medicine is in cold-war with the English medicine.
When I researched about the claim on Neem leaves curing  Monkey Pox, this is the result I got; “There is currently no scientific evidence to suggest that neem leaves can treat or cure monkeypox. I may not attest on using Dogonyaro or Neem leaves to cure monkeypox but I believe it is not harmful to try it. As a child, my parents used Neem leaves to treat many ailments, especially Yellow Fever. The patients were treated with the water and they got cured. There is no harm in using Neem leaves on Monkeypox patients.

No, not at all.  it is very safe to eat from. Neem leaves are like other medicinal trees. It is not known to be poisonous.

Apart from the smell, it is not harmful. People use the stick for chewing stick for their teeth. They say it is good against tooth ache and tooth decay. The leaves can be chewed raw but I am not recommending it.

The commonest method of preparing Neem leaf or Dogon Yaro is boiling the fresh leaves with clean water. Bring the pot down and allow to cool. Take full glass cup morning and before bed time. It can be taken after eating or before eating. The water is also used to bath. Takes care of any skin infection. It helps clear the skin.
